holy experience

Another week, another list.  Here we go then, in no particular order, I am thankful for . . . .

515.  Awesome, wonderful, amazing art goodies for Christmas gifts!

516.  Year long online art class, 2 proper "lessons" each month, but something new every week.

517.  The "Celebration of the Nativity at J1" went really well.  J1 is our church building and we had an evening for all users of the building with a bring and share meal, followed by a celebration in words and music.  We had the indoor carpet bowl group, the Light Operatic group, the the art group, the charity working in supporting mentally disabled adults and the boys brigade group.  Most of them are not Christian groups, they just happen to use our building.  It went far better than any of us could have hoped for and was a really great event.

518.  Christmas eve outdoor carols, with music from the Bournville Carillon.

519.  Hearing my boys laugh in the other room.

520.  Moments of connection with my teenage boys in between the attitude and other teenage/ young adult junk.

521.  Hubby seems impressed with my gift to him, a year long basket of pre-organised date nights.

522.  Lots of yummy foods over Christmas and a 17 year old son who is so eager to cook.

523.  If I'm going to get a cold that blocks my nose and my throat (not at all fun when you have sleep apnoea and use a CPAP machine), I am thankful it happened while I didn't have "work" to do.

524.  Questions that already had answers, just needed a friend to ask "So what do YOU want to about it?"

525.  Having hubby's father round for Christmas day went well, even if we did have to watch an hour of Lawrence of Arabia.  (Who knew that movie was over 4 hours long, good grief).

526.  Party at my dad's house was fun, and the bouncy penguin made his annual appearance.

527.
